About these terms
These terms apply to https://www.obitnytsia.org, operated by Charitable Organization “Promise Society” (EDRPOU 39238132). By using the site or making a gift you agree to them. A donation is a charitable contribution, not a purchase of goods or services.
Using the site
You may browse in English or Ukrainian without creating an account. Do not misuse the site, attempt to disrupt payments, or use another person’s details without permission.
Campaign amounts, impact figures, and stories describe our programmes in good faith. They are not a guarantee of a particular outcome for a named child.
Card donations
Card gifts are charged in hryvnia (UAH) through WayForPay. After you pay, we confirm the result via WayForPay’s notification and, when needed, a status check. A successful gift is shown on the Done step and a receipt is emailed when that service is configured.
If a payment is declined, expired, refunded, or voided, you may try again. If a charge is still being confirmed, wait for the receipt rather than paying twice unless the site clearly shows the first attempt failed.
Monthly gifts
A monthly gift continues until you cancel. You can cancel future charges with the link in your receipt email. Amounts already given stay with the charity.
Bank transfer
If you choose bank transfer, you send the gift from your own bank using the details shown. Arrival and receipt can take one to two business days. Follow the purpose line so we can match the payment.
Receipts and tax
Receipts confirm that we recorded your gift. They are not tax, legal, or accounting advice. Deductibility depends on your circumstances and applicable law.
Liability
The site is provided as a public fundraising channel. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we do not warrant uninterrupted access. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under Ukrainian law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Ukraine. Privacy practices are described in the Privacy policy. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest revision.
